Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal was established in in the 1955. Scince then a large number of medical graduates have passed out from here and have settled in various part of the country & around the world. Many of them have achived prestigious positions in academic & social fields.

There was a growing desire amongst the old students that a platform should be there where ex students could meet & share their experiences, renew their relationships, rekindle old friendships and make new friends. With this dream in mind it was on the 14 January 1990 when some ex student led by Dr. N. D. Gargav decided to form an association was formed and a constitution was adopted. Thus the " Alunmi of Gandhi Medical College" was born. Thereafter it was registred under Firms & Societies Act on 20 July 1990 with the aim to promote spirit of brotherhood amongst old students.

The association will continue to play our innings and are retiring, our Alma mater could bless us thus:
